Hello!
I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to our new website.  I trust you will find it informative and easy to use.  It is a work in progress so check back often for new information and features.

I also wanted to introduce myself to the Crosswell Family.  On October 6th, I became the new Executive Director of the Home and it has been a very busy month.  I come to Crosswell from Epworth Children's Home in Columbia.  I served Epworth for 11 years and learned a great deal that will aid me in my service to Crosswell. I am originally from Anderson, SC and have been married to my wife Suzy for 11 years.  We have two daughters and look forward to making Sumter our home.  I am a graduate of The Citadel and have a Master's Degree in Social Work from USC.

Crosswell is a very special place.  We have a long history of serving the children and families of our state and we all look forward to carrying on Mr. Crosswell's legacy.  Thousands of children in our state are affected by abuse, neglect and other hardships.  It is for these children that Crosswell exists.  We are a ministry that serves the calling to "help the least of these".  Crosswell is a place of safety, a place of smiles, and a place where God's little ones have an opportunity to recover from their yesterdays while discovering  hope in their tomorrows.

Thanks to all of you who support our Home through prayers, donations, and volunteering. You are a vital part of our ministry.

For the Children,
Jerry
